One of the world’s biggest brands asking some key questions
Will the world always be this unpredictable?
As part of TeamUBS out of Publicis Sapient in Zurich, I worked on a number of minimal, refined designs for reactive campaigns in 2020. Two key themes became pertinent across the world as it was gripped in the hold of a deadly pandemic: the unpredictability of life, and the need to question ourselves, and every thing around us, before accepting our realities at face value.
The pursuit of simple ideas amidst a minimal visual identity
The whole UBS visual identity revolves around minimalism, refinement and elegance. Developed most recently by Wunderman Thompson in London, the strict constraints of colour and monotone imagery created a small sandbox where core graphic design concepts could come to life to communicate these brand values in clever, and sometimes location-specific, executions.
